Monday, November 30, 1998I don't have time to actually add some content to my site today :( , but I have some news! :) First of all, I have decided to make a special links page exclusively for Must See Links. (Ones that have won my award.) I have also begun making RPGlayout.doc (available for download from my projects section) into html form so that you don't have to download it. (I hate downloading files with text in them. ie: tutorials, online magazines, etc. I don't know why.) I've begun drawing the enemy pictures for my RPG. I only have Pyewacket (the first enemy planned) done. I really suck at computer graphics, so if anyone can make better pictures for me after I release mine will get full credit, my blessing, my award to go on their website, their link in my Must see! and regular links sections, and other thanks. I'm trying to manage to get all of them released before the end of this week. I also have added about seven more enemies and a little more planning done in my "RPG folder" (made of paper, not bits and bytes. I have to just type up the stuff that I planned.) Also, for a brief period, Freeyellow's counters broke. I had 477 hits on Saturday, and all of Sunday and part of today, they didn't show up. The hits for those days weren't recorded. :( However, Saturday was my best day ever, with about 38 hits coming in! It beat my previous record by 11! (I know this because of Nedstat's code thing. If you want to know about my hits with a bunch of nice, easy to understand graphs and tables, click on th graph icon on the bottom of the page. If I have time later, I'll do a real update, but it probably won't happen... THIRTY-ONE UPDATES IN A ROW!!!
Sunday, November 29, 1998I added six more links, and put up a button for Alternate Logic. I also added five more tutorials to my tutorials section. I made new buttons for my frames. They look exactly the same, but they're smaller. They'll look better, and I'll have more room to add more links there. I'm going to start sending out emails to webmasters who have won my award. If you think that your site qualifies, visit my "My Award" section in my frames. (Note: If your site is in the Links section and it has a Must See! on the end of it, you've already won the award.) I now have THIRTY UPDATES IN A ROW!!! Wow! That's a lot! I have 140 something links, and 88 tutorials. I have 207 files, and am in ten webrings. People! Post on my QBOARD! It's so quiet there!
Saturday, November 28, 1998Big update! I now have over 80 tutorials and over 135 links! Yes! Yes, yes, yes! Over Thanksgiving, I did a LOT of planning for my RPG. I planned out the battle engine, and about ten more characters (all of their stats!) I have a lot to do! Have fun on my site! Oh, and if you do have a QBASIC Site, email the address, and I'll put up a link and check to see if your site is worthy of my award! Well... Nothing else, but Twenty-Nine Updates in a row!!!
Day after Thanksgiving (11:52 PM!!)MY RECORD STANDS! in 7 minutes, it would have been broken, but I managed to get online and update my page! Adding a link to KeiProductions Online. Post on my QBOARD!
Thanksgiving '98Yes! I've gotten 400 hits! (I'm at 413 hits now!) And, I had a pretty big update today! I joined a webring called "Yet another QBASIC Webring" (Check my webrings section.) I added 44 tutorials and 6 interviews into my tutorials section!! I added 12 links! (Five were Must See! links) And, I made an award for the best sitesin my links section. I'm going to email it to all of the people with Must See! links. I'm thinking about getting a ListBot thing and emailing people when I do major updates. (Or maybe once a week or month, or something.) I have to do some more general maintenance around here. Oh, there's something I want to try:

Later...I put up graphics for Tsugumo's website link and Eightball Software. I got rid of the annoying brown line around the tutorials graphic. (I forgot to say border=0) I added a link to download QB 4.5 on the frame!!! I resized some of the graphics in the frame because the text links were getting pushed off. And I found out that my scrolling Marquee thing worked! That was a big update, today wasn't it? Well, I've gotta go to bed. (3:22 AM) Have a happy Thanksgiving!
Wednesday, November 25, 1998No school today! Thanksgiving tomorrow! Hurray! Today I made a map of kingdom one. I suck at graphics, so it's not that pretty, but click here to view it. Better yet, go to to my Projects Section and see the map, and read about it. Also, download my RPG layout! (Don't if you don't want it spoiled for you.) I've decided to use Tek's Tile Engine Three and N!Media for my sprites. Also, I added 9 new links for a total of 108! Why 108, you ask? Well, I found out that I had the QBASIC Outpost listed twice (at number 19 and 35.) I've also got almost 400 hits! (I wouldn't be surprised if I broke 400 tonight.) Well... Have fun, download some files, Take a look at my RPG, post on my QBOARD!, visit other parts of my site through the frames, and exit through one of the Top sites (QBT50, QBT100, QBT25, QBRPGT50). Vote for me! I'm going to get some more tutorials by the next update! Enough rambling for now, isit my site! (And post on my qboard!)

Monday, November 23, 1998I just fixed all of the broken links in the files sections. (1 and 2) All the files should be downloadable now! Hey, somebody post on my QBOARD! Also, everyone should download my RPG layout to see how good it's going to be! I'm almost done making the map on the computer. (I have a drawn map at, but it looks crappy when it's scanned in, so I'll make one with my computer. I'm on my way to 400 hits! (Only 40 or so more!) Most importantly, though, I have 24 updates in a row! Now I've gotta get some homework done before Thanksgiving Vacation. Oh, also I joined the Top 50's QFINDER, and I'll add the code for it tomorrow. I know you can't wait for it, but hold your horses! Sunday, November 22, 1998Okay, I didn't update my files section at all! My mom kicked me off the computer last night, and I couldn't get back on to update! :( Well... This morning, I had church, so I couldn't get online to update, but I did have time last night to do some planning for my RPG. Actually... A LOT! I have all of the stuff I have planed except for a little bit I haven't typed up here! NOTICE: IF YOU DON"T WANT TO HAVE THE PLOT SPOILED FOR YOU, DON"T READ THIS!! This is in .DOC (For Windows Wordpad. The .TXT version is here. I reccomend the .DOC version, though, if your computer can support it.) Saturday, November 21, 1998Little quicky update. I'm going to fix all 50 or so (yes, 50) broken links. In my Links, I had an error in the URLs. Darn. Well... I'm going to completely redo my files section. (Files is the hardest, and most boring to update, so I don't want to do it.) Post on my QBOARD, and sign my Guestbook! Submit stuff! Email me! (I love getting email! Well... that's enough of telling you what I have to do... All I have to do now is do it!

Friday, November 20, 1998Well... It's 11:23 PM so my record still stands! (I thought I wasn't going to have time to update, but I managed to. I added 10 links, and now I have Exactly 100! I also made a small, and crappy tutorials section. (Click on the frame link to view it.) For some reason, the table doesn't work out, though. It lists the five parts of the bottom of the second column at the top, and wrong-like! :) If you highlite the table, when you are going over the parts where the parts are supposed to go, it highlights them above! WTF?! If anybody could look at the source, and figure out why that happens, tell me, because it's not supposed to happen. I looked at all of the source, tried rearanging it, etc., and it didn't do anything! Well... Have fun! I'm going to add more tutorials and links for sure tomorrow, and I'll try to make some more site graphics (for the text links in the frames), and try to add more files. (The hardest part!) Oh, I have broken 300 hits!! Yesterday, I had 29 hits (my all time record) and now I have 100 links, 207 files, no new posts on the QBOARD and no Guestbook posts! Darn it! You guys can do better than that! Well... I rambled too much for one day!
Thursday, November 19, 1998FRAMES HAVE BEEN ADDED! Yes! Finally! I just spent two hours fixing up all my site's sections to work out in the new frames. (Wow! They look good!) The files section fits into the frames, and so do all the rest of the sections. (Except the submit form and the Guestbook. I have no control over that...) All I have to do now is go into the Links section and make them so that they don't load into my frames! (Good 20 minutes of typing!!!) I also added a link to Venom Enterprises QBASIC Site. It has nothing yet, but it looks very promising! And, I added a new section-Projects! It is very small. (All it talks about is my RPG that I'm working on. I haven't started coding yet, but I have the first third of the game planned out! You see, there are three kingdoms, and each one is sorta kinda like a new RPG! I'll release more info soon! I have 269 hits, 90 links, 207 files, 1 project, 10 webrings, QFINDER, am a member of the Top 50, Top 25, Top 100, And QBASIC RPG Top 50! Plus I have 20 UPDATES IN A ROW!!! Later...I added a few more links in my frames, made two small new sections (Website Graphics and Link To Me) I also fixed all of the links in the Links section so that the website doesn't open in my frames. I also made the background of the links section black. Today, I've gotten my most hits in a day! (Check the Nedstat thing at the bottom of the page.) I really like how my page looks now! (I;m not embarrased to have people visit it! I had Collin Post a message on my QBOARD about Quick C++, and I'm going to check my submit form, and see if anyone submitted! Wow, I updated a lot today! Later...I added a link to MA SNART's page, and joined the QBLE. (Still awaiting email to get the code on this page. This is definitely the last update today. I'm going to try to gather some tutorials tomorrow. (Put links up to as many tutorials as I can find.) I'm going to try to get more files. (Haven't added any for a about a week.) And some more links. Tuesday, November 17, 1998I spent about an hour drawing about five banners for my site. Go to the Neozones QBOARD and click on my post to see em. Oh, and got to my QBOARD while you're visiting alll of the other, active ones. (I get about no posts!!!) Well... 18 updates in 18 days! Oh, joy. Boy, I'm tired.........(Only 4:49 PM, too.......)
Monday, November 16, 1998 I added a link to AntoSOFT, and put up the Submit form link on the bottom of the webrings page. I put the QBRPGT50 banner in the webrings section, not to the top 25, 50 and 100 banners. I also am going to update the news section (by putting the extra news from this page there. Woodlands may still be contined! Progman is considering doing it in VGA, to make it easier to program! (The SVGA libs you all know and love are giving him trouble!) QB:TM had another briallant installment, and QBNEWS has all of the news that QB:TM doesn't catch. The QB Community is really doing great lately! Well... I'll probably do some more updating later. 235 Hits! Woohoo! Also, 17 (Yes 17 hits in a row!) I'm aiming for at least 30! Wow!
Sunday, November 15, 1998 I joined the QBASIC RPG Top 50, got a free guestbook from Guestpage.com! Go to the bottom of the page to visit it. I also got a free submit form (with a free CGI-Bin) from maxpages.com! (I'm getting a lot of things free lately!) I added a link to the Eightball Software, and to the QBRPGT50. To access my guestbook, click on the links at the bottom of the page. To submit programs or links, click on the submit link at various places on website. Vote for me on the top 100, 50, 25, and the QBASIC RPG top 50 as always, and please post on my QBOARD! I have 16 updates in a row right now, 3 messages posted on my QBOARD, and ~220 hits.
Saturday, November 14, 1998 I've gotten more than 200 HITS!! Woohoo! Yeah! First of all, somebody post on my QBOARD! If so many of you are coming here, why can't you post? I've only had one (other than myself)! I added a link to Mark's QBASIC Site, and I'm working on graphics, and frames for this site. (Yes, I still am working on them!) I'm too lazy to figure out frames, and I suck at graphics. FIFTEEN UPDATES IN A ROW!!
Friday The 13th!!! I made a button for other people to link to my page!!! Here it is:  Like it? I know, it sort of sucks, but hey, I have a button! I'm working on a banner for the QBLE, and the QBBN. I am also working on graphics for links to sections of my site. Also, some people think that the supposed "DarkDread Page" isn't what it seems. It does look very convincing, but I can't be sure! Thursday, November 12, 1998 Finally, DarkDread's Page has resurfaced! He is one of the best QBASIC Programmers around! If you don't know who he is, he is the programmer of Dark Crown, the Legend of Lith series, and Pong '97! Then, late last year, he dissapeared. The QBASIC Community was outraged to lose such a great mind! He started the QBASIC RPG Glut, because everyone wanted to be as good a programmer as him! Well, over the last months, he returned, in August making a website called RavenHeart's QBASIC Page (Yes, he is now known as RavenHeart). He made a new software company, and started a new RPG! It's great to see you again, Darkdread! Okay, (finally), here's what I did: I added a link to Darkdread's New Website, and I got a QBOARD from Disc.Server.com!! Post on it today! Sunday, November 1, 1998Well, today is our official opening day! It's 2:43 AM, and I just got done putting a few finishing touches on my website. I put some stuff in my "more about files section", I added about five links, and I made a new section in my files section, I now have 101 files! Now, I'm going to join the QBT50, and go to bed! I'll update more in the morning, and afternoon. I think I can finally really invite people to come to my website! Later:I just added about 25 more files to my files section, and made a second files page, because the first one had more than 64K on it. I think I'll eventually make a seperate page for each section. Also, the QBT50 is down. I'll try joining the Top 25. Later...It's 6:30, and my mom said I had to get off of the internet. I joined the QBASIC Top 25, added a link to QBASIC:The Magazine (a very elite site), and I fine-tuned my links section. The QBT50 is still down :(, but when it comes back, I'll sign up. Later...I joined three webrings, and made a new webrings section. The webrings are: The QB Programmers Web Ring, the FutureSoft webring, and the VirtuaSoft Webring. Check out the other sites on these 'rings.

Sunday, October 25, 1998Today, I increased my files section to 97 files! (All are games.) I think I'm going to add a "news" section, and a "more info. on files section". Check out our awesome, improved files section! I'll write some more news if I add some more stuff. :) Later...As you can see, this was a huge update! I got rid of all of that stupid gibberish left over from day one. I added a news section, and a more about files section.The news section is up, and complete. I have all "news note" things in there, except for the latest four. The "more about files section" is up, but really sucks! Don't go there, at any cost! Adn of course my index.html is sort of completely changed...

I tried to upload, but for some reason, freeyellow's upload thing doesn't work for me... Well, I started working on things that didn't require uploaded things. At home, I made wallpaper for this page, but I can't update it. I'm also going to try to add frames, and make a button. I joined the Link Exchange yesterday. I'll try to update to tomorrow. I've always wanted a website, and I despise GeoCities. So, I got a free 12 meg website. (You should get one from freeyellow too!) After ten minutes, I got my website, and became a member of freeyellow.com. Now, I've got my very own QB web site! I'm going to get this page looking spiffy, then add meta tags, and join the LinkExchange, and QBT50. (I don't want anyone to visit for a couple weeks...)
