This is my first time to post anything on the internet. I am more of a surfer than a QA man. But back in the early 80's I learned basic and use an Tandy 99 ( the one with the casset tape recorder as an data storage device.) It was ok I did program some games and worked on an rough form of quicken . I haven't programed in a long time.I have windows 95 and would like to program (code) on it but qbasic is not on it and I need a set by set guide on how to get it up and runing.
No sweat, easy. Get QB4.5 from qbasicstation.com or QBNZ.com, then unzip the archive, and run it. Then set up the directories of the help menu and everything else, the diectory should be the one you unzipped it to. This is found in the options tab of the Qbasic IDE...
1. go to qbnz.com
2. go to software
3. go to qbasic 1.1 (easyest 4 the beginner)
4. unzip somewhere
5. press qbasic.exe
6. make that awsome program
7. shove it in our faces
8. we will then hide in a corner.
