LED's in the shower using water power

Got a shower head handle with 15 bright LED's that indicates the water temperature, green as coldest:


Blue indicates a warm temperature:


Red indicates that the water may be too hot to handle:


The shower handle mounts on to a flexible 2 cm female hose fitting as the handle has male threading on the outside.

There are no batteries powering it. It generates its own power by the water going through it.

I am still waiting for one that fits on the sink faucet. It is supposed to work the same way.

Received an LED faucet light too:

I took out the diversion cap(center) to show the generator's impeller that creates the water power.

The faucet unit only uses one RGB LED to change colors as the water temperature changes:


On this faucet light the LED colors go from blue as cold to green and then red when super hot:






Note: The chrome thread adapter has internal threads only and it must be used with the screen filter, but
Don't over tighten! it is plastic so it could strip out easily. It would not stay on one faucet, but it held on another.

Major problems with the faucet temperature unit. It appears that those 3 slots in the deflector do not allow enough water to get through. The faucet itself began leaking from the base near the handles and water goes all over the place! Too much back pressure!

I now have to see if I can get the faucet replaced or I cannot use it. Also the threads are not working so well because of all of the water pressure. I may have to try using Teflon tape to seal them properly.

I only paid $4 for the faucet LED unit from China so I may just pass on it.

Its awesome technology you have to used here, last time i was listen shower filter can play at the music bit, is that correct?

As an update, the faucet LED sensor did not last as it kept leaking and eventually failed to stay on the faucet. The back pressure can also create leaks that occur inside of the faucet body that will force water to back flush past the faucet handles.

The shower light is still working well! No problems there!
