Could someone create a QBasic browser that only identifies Qbasic created sites? This type of thing could open a new world to us..
Has this been thought of? It is possible??
Since mostly everyone is connected anyway... why can't we have a QBasic meeting place online
created in QB.
Just a thought...

so basically a search engine? i'm sure it can be done
in my fake GUI i made i can get I.E to popup....so
it probably wouldn't be impossible...

You mean a browser in QB? Or just loading them with some SHELL command? The 1st would be very hard. The second not...
Well, succes, I don't know anything about internet in qbasic so i cant help you further...

You could start learning how to control different LAN cards (or there's some other way than direct I/O) and implement TCP/IP protocol, and some HTML browser and maybe add some Java support... not to mention image stuff...
