NeoBASIC is a vast monopoly, encompassing the former monsters, Neozones.com and Simply Qbasic. Other enterprises have come under their domain, and still more are tied to them through a large network of connections and contacts. You already know this, but what you don't know is who/what is behind this great empire. I warn you, reading this may endanger you and your family, and maybe your cat. I have already received severe burns from it. For the sake of your hampsters, look away now.
There is, and has always been, a syndicate of power-hungry webmasters, the members of which I dare not speak aloud. They have been growing in might since the dawn of Qb, making subtle moves for control and buying the silence of high profile programmers. They now control an impressive aresenal of sites, some well-known, some hated. NeoBASIC, QNN, GeoShock, and QBSA, just to name a few.
But still they've done no crimes. Ah, but here's where it gets very bad. Do you remember the suspicious farewell page of famous Enhanced Creations? Well, you may know that certain members of the syndicate were friendly with Angelo Mottola of EC. But then Mr. Mottola tried to turn away from the dark side, throwing the council into action. An assasin was dispatched, who easily penetrated the meager and deperate defenses Mottola put up in what he knew to be his final moments. The EC team came to an end, and all archives kept by Mottola were burned to the ground. The page was a fake, and a flimsy one at that. Our contacts saw right through it.
Still, their other crimes cannot go unsaid. The long-retired Molnar \ Kucalaba company put up a page several months ago explaining their long absence from coding. Again, the vengeful nature of the syndicate is shown, as Molnar was found stabbed to death, 22 times, discovered by a friend who has since gone into hiding. The police reported this death as a suicide. They were obviously bought by the council. Kucalaba was paid well for his silence, and resides now on a small island in the central pacific. Investigators were close to an open accusation when the site update appeared, throwing them off the trail. Several botched assasination attempts of the rogue Majiko are well documented, one even recorded on audiocassette. I have received threats from false IP's. They no doubt know that I am on their tail. Only now do I feel it right to come out against them.
So, finally, I plea you end your support of their tainted pages, and visit the good guys, QbCommunity, fighting for your freedom.
