i feel kind of stupid asking this on here but anyways here it comes:
What is better to program games on:
-Qbasic
-VBasic
-Java
-Flash
-Other

Definitaly gotta say any other .

Well it's close to QB .... FreeBasic.... www.freebasic.net gotta be the way to go even if you do a DOS game cause i's got DOS 32 bits...enless supply of memory

But yeah I think FB is the best way to go . for more than the DOS 32 Bit thing too

Depends on the game, the target audience, the target platform etc etc etc etc

All in all, it doesent matter what language you use.

If you know enough about game coding, you can figure out how to do what you want in any language. And if it's impossible, you change language, or alter your plans for the game.


Example: You wont be able to make a cellphone game in QB, but you can make it in Java

Same with making a DOS game in Java

Flash is for games like online (Non networked, just login > play)... lol,.. Or really drop dead b-e-a-utiful sites like: www.lamborghini.com (Turn off Pop-up controll, other wise it will close the site.. ) You can move the menus around.. and their animations!............ *Daydream*

As for comp games,. FreeBasic/VBasic/C++/ or which ever you feel best with.. lol..

Cellphone games (w/ really nice phone w/ really cool pop out key board (seen one, looks cool!)) MobleBasic....

Eh... I don't feel like going thru them all,.. lol,.
