Well... odds are, you want to use MP3s in your game. Don't... I recomend useing Neks direct sound slave or DQB... QB is to slow for MP3s. If you want that power, go to www.gamemaker.nl and you can make games on that (pm me if you do, I will have a presant for you  )!!!

Its a computer term,. a slave is when you gain total control of a system or harddrive unit, or I think, or when you control it,... Robot also means slave, so, :D , give or take..

BTW... game makers are for noobs... I learned that, then told my dad, then he got me intereseted in a taped-up, ripped, torn book called "Using QB" and I loved it... read it for hours, and read it about 5 hours a day at summer camp!

Don't even try to play MP3s in QB. They're too complicated and compressed a format for QB to handle.

If you want to use MP3s for background music or something, convert them to WAVs and play them through a QB WAV player.

You could always pirate Nero and if you have one, burn an MP3 onto a CD-RW then copy the WAVs onto your computer, thats the only way I know of to convert MP3s to WAVs.

Umm, just un-plug your Mic and start playing the MP3 while the WAV is recording,... should work, or it does with CD's that way...

You can also control the stereo like that to, have it play in 1 spk, and scoll over to the other.. hehe,. :D , using MediaRack, not sure what others do that..

Wow, so many terms about music :? .

I thought QB's music (PLAY) sucked so I rarley use it because it becomes annoying after a short time. I never expanded my music veiws.

I don't like game makers. MAKE YOUR OWN DA***IT!

BTW, I knew what a slave was. IT WAS A JOKE!
