Pete's QBASIC Site

I've been overly annoyed with AOL's WYSIWYG editor. It takes up to much space and it never always loads or saves correctly(Have to do it several times over)

Well I took up HTML and I wrote my own site site that will soon do what I want and a lil more. All HyperLinks are not yet operating. This is the opening web showing of my new site. The original site will still be around till I move everything over.

Take a good look, that's what will be up! Course the Header looks bit out, AOL compressed it and it pixalated a lil. Enjoy anyway!!

Nice design, good inginuity, could be better just go at it, but work on your game too. Lol

I would like to say that I have nothing against ASM but since its not QB, when I can get by without it I do, even if I have to think a little!

Top, yes, , when you can sit and writh a code that I have to ponder on alittle to figure out, or never figure out at all.. You get that ranking I thought..

Sounds nice, but AOL give me this 20megs free, and just last night I was calculating to c what I had left,. get this 18 Megs! I've got 5 sites, 3 with their editor and 2 in raw HTML! They lied when they kept saying I was out of space!(the editor did that any way, maybe it was page size they didn't like. )

I also have several BMPs and QB prog. Hmm, a new FTP? I got a handful of megs on my current, all others advertize 150megs... what would I do with that I wonder,.. heh heh, maybe a link city,. say have you looked at my "Link Town", only got me, but I plan to find and put more..

Ok, so they give you good stuff for site hosting....

Mine gives me 10 MB, but a good connection/internet....

Anything else I just go to a free internet hosting site. (NOT GEOCITIES, THEIR HOSTING IS NOT GOOD)

You do know 20megs is only 10 more, and if I calculated right, I till havn't used 10megs yet... Your not that bad off..

Well ya, if you don't want to make any games on your site...

I make Javascript games, so I need room for pics, and code...You fill up 10 Megs easily in 3 games + site design.

It was a test for Javascript on my site....Still haven't put anything up yet...Meanwhile just look at my smileyface!

How long = 6 months
How much time = 40 hours

mine is 300 gigs of bandwidth, 300 megs of space, free forums, chatroom, and tons of other things. websiteallies.com. Nothings on it yet, though.

I'll look over the site and make a building that suits it,. My site is small, I have a little store, Pete's is BIG, so I made it out as a citadel (Large Mid-Evil fortress) with some modern SkyLights...

Note Put a QB related subject so I don't delete it as spam. also your site might not ever get in the town, pointless sites, xtremely small,(and, or) one paged sites,. or if when I'm happy with my town and I call it finished... Also if your one page site is interesting, it might make it in.. All sites must be QB...

Speeking of which, My site is up and running 100%, sept for the town, but that's a growing thing. So go look at all the options on it.
