BASIC for Windows

Do you know any other BASIC languages for WIndows except for LibertyBasic and VisualBasic?

Darn, he beat me to it. Freebasic is the best, you already know it if you know any microshit varient of basic.

I also use xblite:

Strictly a windows compiler, but has lots of good features.

Ok.. I know that fb runs well in linux and Dos.. but I have windows so what is the best BASIC for Windows?

Freebasic is without a doubt the best and most complete basic language out there today. End of discussion

Getting FreeBasic

I got both FB IDE and FreeBasic from the FB IDE download site:

You get both the most current version of FreeBasic and a nifty Integrated Development Environment (IDE) called FBIde.

Honestly, I had trouble getting it to work until version 0.4.4, when it (the IDE) worked fine. The current version is 0.4.6.

Freebasic works for Linux, DOS, and windows.

PowerBASIC has PCOPY on concole, FB dont :wink: :lol:

Which is the main reason I don't use FreeBASIC for my *bigger* projects. Heck, my SCREEN 0 windowing routine (hand coded) uses PCOPY to "remove" windows.........
