Is there a BASIC compiler made for OS X? I need one ASAP. I need it so I can help this sophmore on a project he is making. Also, I would like to see a game using a 'free-moving' map (EX not tile based), and maybe an editor.

FreeBASIC for MAC OS X. I wish

Chipmunk Basic is not a compiler AFAIK..
http://www.nicholson.com/rhn/basic/

v1c is converting FreeBasic into a frontend to gcc, When it's finishedm the port to system X will be easy. Can you wait?

Mystik:

Input

Code: Select all

http://www.sourceforge.net/projects/tntbasic
Clicked 'Download TNT BASIC'
Output:No File Packages
There are no file packages defined for this project.
But it sounded like a good idea.

As for Chipmunk BASIC, I'll have to give that a shot. Thank you.

Well, I have found a nice little BASIC site...

http://basic.mindteq.com/

Many reviews of BASIC Compilers, IDEs, RADs, and more. FreeBASIC is even reviewed :)
In fact, at time of writing, it is the top viewed :D
