OK. I have a few things about slaxBASIC to write. I am going to make many modifications, so this release is only Version 0.11 (0.1 was my first beta - I'm so proud :P ) Information (possibly the download) will be here in 5 hours from this post:

No HTML website or anything...
Anyway, there are a few known bugs that I am going to address.

1. Everything reads 'Slax Standard Edition', which will be changed to 'slaxBASIC'
2. Boring desktop art. If anyone knows where I can get a nice sized picture (640x480 or more) of the FreeBASIC horse, please tell me.
3. DOSbox drive should be /dos_drive, not /root/dos_drive.
4. Desktop shortcuts are in /desktop and not /root/desktop

More on slaxBASIC as it develops.

Sorry. T35 is giving me FTP problems, so I need to get a different file. Maybe CuteFTP will do...

Anyway, another week will go by without anyone but me seeing slaxBASIC.

Hey, tell me what features it has!

Is it a live CD? Are you posting from slax right now?

Features:
  • 2 Music Players
Wireless compatible (needs testing, which you will do :P)
    MS Office compatible
    FreeBASIC :!: :!: :!:
    Programming Environments (C++, Python, etc.)
    Firefox 1.5
Can be installed to your hard drive, or always be run from CD (Live CD)
    Plus some...
I don't have internet access at home, so no, I am not posting from slaxBASIC, but rather from a school MAC OSX 10.4 - I also *secretly* installed DOSBox for MACOSX on each of these computers :P

Lol. I will test wireless, thank you very much. I will try to, anyway... and would it be possible to get a 64-bit port some day? I could test that, too...
