Anyways, I was planning on designing my own variation of DEBIAN LINUX, but can't decide on all of the programs that it should include. Ideas?
I have so far...
-----FILE LIST-----
Debian Base
Linux core
KDE base packages
amaroK (Music Manager)
RealPlayer (Music Manager)
Firefox - best internet browser available
Thunderbird ? email client
OpenOffice.org (free office suite)
The GIMP (Linux equivalent to Paintshop Pro)
WINE ? Windows Emulator
Basilisk II ? MAC Emulator
GAIM (Instant messenger - works with most major IM clients ex. AIM, Yahoo!, MSN, etc.)
DOSbox - DOS emulator
Nvu - Web Designing
Games- Ace Of Penquins (solitare)
Battle For Wesnoth (http://www.wesnoth.org)
3D chess
SuperTUX (Super Mario clone featuring TUX <see avatar>
Blast (Think of StressRelief)
BomberClone (BomberMan Clone)
Frozen Bubble (Think of Bust A Move!)
-----EOFL-----
Ideas? (I would like to keep it legal - not distributing it with QB 2+)

QBinux is a Linux distribution with the aim of integrating the work of the vast community of free software developers at Pete's QBASIC Site in order to create a modern, performant, safe and easy to use system for system administrators and desktop users.
A live-cd? I could probably do that... Gimme a link to a tutorial and I'll try it. But, it would probably have to be a DVD, since the file size already is well over 700mb.Seb McClouth wrote:I can get ya a tutorial on how to build your own... and you can boot it from a CD or DVD!! How bout that...??

FreeBASIC 0.15B
DOSBOX
QBASIC 1.1
FireFox 1.5
KDevelop (C++ environments, mostly.)

Adding more relatively quickly.
