when i go to run it a get an error "Invalid startup directory" why??

What veresion of windows are you running? If its Winshit Xp, i dunno, but with others right click on the EXE and when it promts for any directory, just leave it blank. it will give you some crap when you run it, but just press ok.

Remove the QB shortcut.. it's the DOS shortcu.. extension is PIF iirc..

yeah, those shortcuts mean issues. you can also just run it from the command prompt. but does anyone know why windows makes those shortcuts anyway? im dumb...

To save the settings for the DOS programs, such as memory, fullscreen, terminate at end, etc..
