Anyway, after searching "Allegro Library", the first one was http://www.talula.demon.co.uk/allegro/ and is correct.

C doesn't have any kind of standards graphics libraries. Microsoft C has graphics.h but it's not standard and it's rather slow, although versatile. Since C was designed to be a portable language, no standard graphics library was ever produced for it. So it's not a matter of being crappy...it's a matter of being portable.

Linux / Variants, MacOS, MS-DOS, IBM OS/2 Warp, UNIX / Variants, Windows(Variables), CPM, MSX, AmigaOS, Atari(variables), PlayStation(variables), GameCube, XBox, my tv's remote controller, and lots of others.

If you like your OS's, thats good. So do i.

Havent we allready travelled topic Linux vs Windows to the end here and else where other places?

That still doesn't explain how you KNOW they're from a Linux forum. I use h4x0r and r0x0r in everyday real life conversation... to simulate a person who spends too much time playing online games.

well im the linux's side.. i can say im addiceted to it cuz i carry my mini-cd with 'damn small linux' wherever i go.. i just thing windows is way too crappy.... try ubuntu (http://www.ubuntu.org) it looks cooler, its faster and safer than windows (plus its FREEWARE)...
also, bigger companies are donating money to linux researches.. ITS OUR FUTURE!

I hated Linux, I am on the Apple BSD and Microsoft's side all the way...
