How to revive a Ryobi 18 volt lithium battery. Quick and easy

Just drill two holes into the sides where the metal poles are and charge up battery
to over 5 volts and it should now work in your Ryobi charger again.

This procedure could work with other Lithium batteries also by taking them apart
to locate the battery poles inside. A board circuit may stop the battery from being
charged when the initial battery voltage is too low.

The batteries are made up of several 18650 lithium batteries in series...

My particular battery refused to be charged after power to the charger went off
and later resumed. It worked perfectly up until then...
