1809 desktop PC now cannot find the hard drive...
WTGO M$! Made the decision for me did you...
Desktop went to DOS with warning to choose a boot option. Reboots did same thing. Decided to replace 2032 battery
which necessitated taking out the CD and hard drive to get to. Replaced and got 5 beeps several times. Found bent pins
on CD SATA power cable so I straightened them and it finally booted with BIOS renewed and press F1 to continue or F2 to
Setup. Pressed F1 and it went to Windows 10. Login password took a while to come up after several mouse clicks.
Black screen for THREE MINUTES and then a SLOW layout of desktop icons ensued... 3 minutes later I could finally go to
Settings and check updates below:
Note that there is also NO OPTION to Check for Updates or Retry... just reboot
Reboot did not finish any updates, but now Update found some:
Chrome browser came up automatically like it is supposed to which it had not done on either W10 PC.
ADS started coming too! One refused to go away despite many clicks on Close...
General response time to clicks and keyboard entries is SLOW to abysmal
