It's the font used by the DOS;
apparently it is in the file EGA.CPI
(at least in my Windows 98SE).

Right click the titlebar of QB in window mode. Select properties and see what choices you may have. Be careful or you can mess up the window proportions!

My XP shows Lucinda or raster (whatever that means).

FONT OF THE DOS

Exist many *.CPI files; .CPI means CODEPAGE INFORMATION. The printers can include their own *.CPI files.

For the Ms-Dos ussually were used EGA.CPI, EGA2.CPI, EGA3.CPI, ISO.CPI, LCD.CPI, etc. with many characters sets for very rare languages like chinese, russian, korean, etc., BUT all of them must be seen in FULL SCREEN that it is different of WINDOW MODE.

I saw some programs to create your own CPI files in www.Simtel.Net a time ago.

Any font seen in WINDOW MODE will be seen the font chosen by your Windows version.

In the Windows 98SE the EGA.CPI has 58 kbs.
but in the Windows XP has 125 kbs.;
I do not know if the EGA.CPI of the XP would be only for the DOS.
