Icon change

Post by LEGRAND »

in the past, I read somewhere it was possible to use a personnal icon (drawn with paint?) to replace (enhance?) the standard exe one. Is there something on the subject?

Try doing a right click on the present icon, then, select Properties, then Program. Nead the bottom, on the right-hand side, click on the Chang Icon button. Now, you can choose from those icons presented, or, you can browse through any folder and find nes icons, which you can now use.

As to getting the icon from within a file, such as a Paint-generated picture, I don't know how to do that.

Save a 32*32 picture as an .ICO file. That's an Icon, and it'll work. Except for the fact it keeps on forgetting my icon, but that's just me.
