Dad in trouble

Hello all! :) Let me explain my question:I am father of my son(13 years),and i woud like to teach him qbasic,but i will go on trip and i will be not home for long time.So i woud like to that u guys tell me where i can find tutorials for kids,but i think tutorila like this:from beggining to guru thing.All explained,and when i come from my trip,i can get him some more practice.Thank you in advance.

Yeah. I think there?s no better place to find qb tutorial than here.
And you can trust that if he has something problems with those tut?s, here?s lot?s of coders to help in that case.

Thanks,this is good,but is there tut that is explaing "from top to bottom"?I mean all.

Sounds like you want somthing like: QBasic by Example,. its a book by Greg Pery,. It has almost every thing, cept the more advance things ppl tought up to get around QB's limits, lol, :roll: :wink: or just chain together a bunch of tutorials on what you want 2 teach him.. their are enough to do it on this site,..

I reccomend vic's tutorials: a series under game devolpment. it can get your sons game going in less that 2 weeks.:lol:

and this is the place for everything, except when i am acting like a jerk :wink:

Grab a copy of Qbasic by Example at www.qbasic.com s bookstore. Although I learned from Useing QBasic bye Que, I DO here good things about it. :lol:

I will attemp to be nice to him :wink: Just tell him to read my past posts through searching, and he will know what makes me mad :twisted: and what makes me evil :evil: and tell me if he finds out what makes me STUPID!!!

I got going thru a mixture of several tutorials, some of Vic's, some of Mallards, and countless others. But yeah, like the rest said, Vic's got a good series to get your son going and then some. Hope you have good luck.

Can't help it :roll: I like this emoticon. Its been in all my post I think, lol.

I've used " :roll: " 11 out of 15 counting the one in this post, thanks I went back and looked over my whole posts, the search n member list show just part of the whole mesage, you have to click on the topic to show the whole thing,. :wink:
