BASIC with GUI

Post by Dave Kimble » Fri Nov 16, 2012 7:31 pm

I wasted a lot of time trying to get PHPWinBinder to work, only to find out it never worked fully and is not supported any more. Duh.

I have now downloaded FB-IDE, FreeBASIC and the GUI package. It seems somewhat limited in the number of controls, but might do for some simple jobs.

I can't get anything to compile properly, even the FB_GUI examples. The documentation seems to be out of date with respect to xfont, whatever that is.

Before I waste any more time, is it still an active project, and is this site the best place to ask questions on it?

FB questions belong in the Free Basic Forum. There has not been a lot of activity there either so go to the Free Basic Site. You will have to join.
