Well , not sure on Mallards, thats a new name to me,...This was over a year ago, lots of things changed, more,...Now I am trying to learn about Linux,..totaly new to me,...But I still enjoy, my Dos programs,..and qbasic,..

I am a new member and I'd just like to say:
QBASIC is not dead!
It may be aging but it still works just fine. What we need is more high school courses, like the one I'm taking now, that teach it.

Try QB64 it can do even more on 64 bit machines.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Finally a Qbasic that I can use on Windows 7 without DOSBox! It does seem to lack some features of my old QBasic 4.5, but not needing an emulator is worth it! :D

Interrupt and Absolute only work with the first 3 functions of a mouse, but QB64 graphics can be 24/32 bit.

A little late, but seriously, I wish every one a happy new year,
I am glad to see petesqbsite is still alive, There seems to be some new, and interesting, programs and posts here, I hope to get back over here in the next few days, and read more,
