hey all! im sitting here in my 'computer class' 'learning' how to process words with word processing sofware.........

i have to take this class.... its required if i want to take a programming class..... then once im in programming.... I GOTTA LEARN JAVA!!!! WHAT THE &^%&^%...... terrible language to teach to the kids of today (or any other day)

I tried to express how i feel about how much bs teaching this specific software that might soon be obsolete is but my teacer shut me up.

sometimes the basics must be taught whether we like them or not.

thats fine with me, but i do not consider 'microsoft word' to be the basics of programming... or even computers.

what they need to be teaching is the concepts of how the computer functions
