Need QB Express Submissions

Hey everyone, I'm thinking about releasing the next issue of QB Express on January 15th... which is only ten days away. I want to release it before I have to go back to school, when I still have plenty of free time.

However, I'm not going to be able to release the magazine then UNLESS I can get enough submissions in to fill it up.

So who's interested in writing for the next issue? I need all the usual: articles, tutorials, editorials, reviews, interviews, comics, news items, QB history articles, a program to feature in the gallery, etc.

If you have any interest in writing, you can reply to this post, PM me or email me (pberg1 at gmail.com)

Thanks a lot!

I'll be sure to have my random access file tutor ready long before then. I was converting it to work with FB but I'll keep it in QB for now. Maybe add an addendum to it with an FB version of the example I made in there. for the next release after that.

Sounds good -- but if you possibly can, definitely include something about FreeBasic. That's what everyone is interested in now, and a lot more people will find it helpful.

Anyone else have stuff to submit?

I'm gonna keep it as "QB Express" because it's a mag for the QB community...even if they don't program in QB anymore.

Great to hear, Nathan -- anything will be appreciated (especially this month, since it doesn't look like I'm gonna have much to print)! Just remember, everything is due by evening on January 15th.

What's in store for the next issue...

wow, that sure came up fast. I might not have as large a second article for the PHP thingy, but I'll get what I have to you by then hopefully.

Wow, 19day, I completely forgot about your PHP tutorial... sorry I left it off the list. (I've since updated the list to include your tut.)

The reason the issue's coming out early is because, I'm trying to get it out before I go back to school on the 17th...since I'll have almost no time to work on it once the new semester starts.

One day left to get submissions in!

Also, I still don't have a program for the Gallery section. So if you're developing a game and have some nice screenshots, contact me!

Great stuff, guys!

Anyone else have contributions?

You still have all day to get them in. Actually, I'll accept stuff all the way up until the magazine is released, whether it's today or tomorrow.
