Hopefully an intresting RPG

I've been using qbasic since I was 8 y/o(now about 7 years past). Throughout that time I only learned only a few useless things. Just last week a came to Petes site and read a ton of tutorials. I relized something. So many people finished so many amazing things. I finished nothing.
As soon as I'm done with this post I'm going to start an short RPG I had planned for years. If I am not done with a playable version of it within 24 hours, I will never use qbasic again. Harsh... I know.
It is going to use raycasting for dungeons, a simple world map, and a really intresting battle system I have never seen before. I'm about ready to begin it... unfortunatly my hands are already tired from typing this, but I will not use any more dang excuses. Wish me luck... Please.

.....if you end up not using QB no more....don't dispare...Use FreeBasic instead....LOL

7 hours in...
YESSSS!!!!! The battle system is almost complete, all I need now is magic(their will only be 5 total). Level 1 designed(7 levels). 2/14+ enemies and bosses done. A good portion of the story.
Wow. I packed on so much caffiene. I'm crazy right now. Then I read the good lucks, I'm ready to pack on another couple levels, thanks all of you.

Indeed, good luck. Very good undertaking, though I would have given myself two days. Are you using my plot line tutorials?

Oh My God!!!!!!
I did it. Not good, but some how its done.
I regret not making an engine to start. This is the most messy programing ever, but I guess what really matters is the end result. Which is borderline ness quality.
Thanks to everyone who wished me good luck. When ever I planned on stopping I thought of the good lucks. Wow, I think I might work on this program a little more.
It's only right that I give a quick summary of the game. It's meant to be a funny rpg about our hero Hippolytus' quest to save his friend, Charlie, from the evil rebel Carl the Dark. Hippolytus works for the king and needs to request permission to leave for his journey. The king gives him permission under one condition, he destroys Carl the Dark's forts in the kings towns on the way. Hippolytus reluctantly accepts.
*****************Spoilers***************************
As Hippolytus destroys the forts he grows more hate for Carl the Dark, and the king for making him risk his friends life. When he finally thinks he defeated Carl the Dark. He removes his mask, its his friend. It's then revealed that Carl the Dark was infamous for his brainwashing.
Carl's belligerent attitude caused him to not think.

I'm probably going to work on the game a little more, then I might release it on the internet.
