ABOG GAME MAKE CLUB OFFICIAL BUSINESS TONIGHT MIDNITE12:41AM

Post by Kiyotewolf »

Dear Bears & Chickens & things.

I wanted to announce, I am starting up a local computer club.

DIM ABOG as STRING
Let ABOG = "Amatur Bureau Of Game (design)"
fs = CreateObject("Scripting.Main")
fs.open ABOG
fs.invite "everyone"
fs.share "lots of perks & 2X perks for core members."
fs.unshare "website"
fs.why "still kludging it together"
fs.why "charter is done ~ going to upload it, then it's done"
fs.ok "yes it's ok.. it'd better be. I don't wanna wait until it's convient for you..."
fs.backupplan "http://kiyotewolf.deviantart.com"
fs.explaindummy "ok ok.. go to that site, if you have a dA site of your own, MSG me, and I will add you to the club."
fs.explainbetterdummy "ok.. people can also email me .. kiyotewolf [atta] gmail [dotta] [com]"
fs.whyshouldwedothat "Online members get the 1st year of membership free. Also, online members are the first to get personalized ABOG ADrive project space, which is password protected using a 3X private key encryption, for safety and storage of digital ABOG projects and member scratch pad (BRIDGE ONLY) type stuff. The club president will have access to all ADRIVE space usernames & passwords, and changing your username & password after you sign up is up to you to ensure privacy if desireable."
fs.stillunsurewhat_sinitforme "non of this 'snappy-answers-to-stupid-quesitons attitude is going to be tolerated in my club or my forum. If people break this rule, once the community decides to vote them off the island, we will ban whomever fails to reconcile. This means, I'll take everyone, from the lowly crayon artist to the guy with a Cray supercomputer in his garage, and take them under my wing, and turn them into game programmers."
fs.youareseriouslybullshittingmedude "no i'm not. I just finished my ""Life's Work in game programming. I have nowhere else to go but up. Please join me and I will teach you ALL that I know."
fs.what_sthecatchbuddy "There IS one catch. All code used by the group becomes GNU open source. There is to be ABSOLUTELY no proprietary code declarations of any code generated for the group. We WILL use some proprietary code with permission from others, be code brought to the club will become property of the club alone, then immediately transfered into OPEN SOURCE FREEWARE status. There is no getting around this. MY CLUB WILL BE THE STEPPING STONES FOR MY KIDS TO FOLLOW IN MY SHOESTEPS AFTER ME. IF THEY CHOOSE, THIS WILL BECOME MY LEGACY TO THEM, AND IT WILL STAND FOREVER. That is why all code is to be GNU Freeware Opensource. If not, it wouldn't be available to them after I die."

So there you have it.

Any projects made for shareware will NOT have ANY proprietary code built in. That means, any outside code used for testing will be stripped away before release. This protects both the creator, and the club from legal action.

If said code is necessary to run the game, the game will not be released. Period. There is no exception to this.

These are the cards, and the chessboard. What you do, is up to you. Your player timer is running.

Wow.. burger####, that's the nicest thing you've ever said about me. And you haven't had much positive to say ever, about me, before this.

^o^ I'm taking this as a compliment.

Muwhahaaha..

Dearest Burger####,

That option was set there just for you.

Because we distastefully HATE each other with much zest and flaire, I thought it was proper to leave a possibility in there for my anti-fan club, in case they had more qualms about me.

Has a nice day,.. Lol Cats.. Lol cat says LOL..

Do you mean conceited? :P

Anyways, what is this all about? The OP isn't of the, ehm, easily-readable variety.
For any grievances posted above, I blame whoever is in charge . . .
