I think I fixed the problem.

Lemme know if I'm incorrect.

I would not mind writing a weekly comment column as I see it.

Hey Lachie, you should really add a <title> to the QBGD... without it, the site won't show up in any search engines! (Or your ranking is really really really low.)

I have not registered on the new site yet, I was frightened you might make me super moderator again lol. Thinking it over, my suggestion was not a good one as I can be a bit contentios at times.

Well it's not a "moderator" type thing. It's a "contributor". Blogs are like newspapers, except smaller. Normally blogs have one editor-in-chief (myself) and multiple writers contributing articles (that have to be reviewed before being published to the front page). I get emails when there's articles to review.

You do not need me now because QBasic.com is now number two on Google for QBasic. I could never work with an editor but you have done well, thanks.

Is there anyone else who'd like to write editorials for QBasic.com?

I have an idea for you to ponder Mark. Could you set up a QB programming chat area on the new server site?

Our chat area at N54 now requires membership in R group and does not work well. Often chat is lost in the conversations there so you have to retype them. If you want to try, we can get Pete to link back to it.

This chatroom has been shared between QB sites for over ten years:

http://www.petesqbsite.com/sections/qbchat/qbchat.shtml

Maybe use that one with an upgraded chat client?

I can install FlashChat right now. It's a quite powerful chat system. Give me a day to set it up and see if it's integrable with Wordpress.

I had trouble finding the Login and Register links. Doesn't tell you your login status and actually how long can you be logged in?

I think the links should be in the top bar. I joined yesterday. Chat worked ok though I was by myself there.

Point taken. I should change where the register and login links are found.

I moved the "meta" section right below "about". Is that prominent enough or did you have something else in mind?
