In case you haven't noticed the adjustment in my signature. It pretty much for discusion and helping others on game design, especially 3D. Currently I have one member (me). Both QB and FB is welcome. And here I wouldn't mind some advise on how to manage a site (Yahoo is hosting it).
For any grievances posted above, I blame whoever is in charge . . .

make sure you have it setup so that each user who wants in
has to be approved....yahoo groups get hit HARD with spammers
if you don't...

make them explain why they want in SPECIFICLY...like they
have to mention their favorite programming language or
something...

don't allow generic answers...."i like your group"
"im interested in your group" "i like programming"
as a reason to get in...


setup some basic rules that each user gets when they get approved

make sure that if they are submitting files that it has to be zip'd
or it gets deleted...its not too bad any more with 100megs of space
but it helps...
