QB Express #23 Needs Submissions!

Post by Imortis »

Hey, everybody. It's that time again. The QB Express #23 deadline was two days ago, and we have one submission and one offer to write a submission.

Tutorials, editorials, game reviews, rants, letters to the editor, comics, interviews, anything. Go to your keyboards people and submit.

The New Deadline is August 1st.

All submissions are to be sent to QBExpress@gmail.com

We look forward to seeing what you send.

Nice, I hope that more submissions are coming. I will write something about a swirl effect, I think. I'm writing it originally for my website, but I will submit it when it's finished. BTW I have already some finished tutorials on my website:

Yes, it's almost that time again...

QB Express #23 Deadline: August 1st

As of right now, we are VERY short on content. We need all types of articles and tutorials, as well as game reviews, editorials, comics, letters to the editor and more!

If you've got even the slightest inkling to write something, do it! This community has not had a consistent or reliable magazine / news source for the past year, and QB Express is (attempting) to fill that void. But without your help, we won't be able to do it.

All submissions can be sent to: qbexpress@gmail.com

What's the hold up? Yes, I need to know.

I wonder how many people will notice that there is a new post in this forum, previous last being mine from 28th July.

I was the hold up. Sorry folks, but Systems Analysis and Design took a bit of priority for about 4 days. I just handed my work in to Pete.

Hey, I'm new. Does anybody want me to submit something? Maybe for Qb Express 24? I don't mind if you want only QB experienced programmers for writers, and I don't mind helping write and submit some of my own work, though now school's starting I might not be able to write a lot in a short amount of time.

go right ahead Mentat, alot of times QB submissions can be used in other languages, it's not just the language itself, it's what you do with it, and what you teach that can be good.

Any suggestions on what I should write? Tutorials (I know TI-BASIC, marginal C++,and some QB)? And does it have to be in a special format (such as margins, or using notepad instead of MicroSoft Word)? And how do I submit?

Here's a topic dedicated to tutorial requests and other QBExpress submission ideas: http://www.petesqbsite.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=745. As stated above, submissions can be emailed to QBExpress@gmail.com.

there's no template per se and preformatting is not required no. Share the information you have (qb related any subject would be good :-)....and we'll take care of the formatting. :-)

Sorry. It took me only a day to write and I really do want to see the new magazine. It's my first submission and it's on AI.

Speaking of which, I'm writing a QB program based on my article, but somethings wrong with whatever is uploading. When will be fixed and/or how will people be notified (except through trial and error)?
