Try to make a programm exactly similar to the one in this tutorial. Only results is the following advise concerning the line
READ map1(x,y)
Erreur de syntaxe
If I copy the file from the tutorial itself, it works.
Can somebody explain?

Syntax Error.
Probably reading an incorrect data type.
