one of my users was running one of my programs
under WINXP and got this:

"gpib-vdd.dll failed to initialize"

but he just clicked IGNORE on the msg
and the program ran fine....

does anyone know why/what this is?

i used qb 4.5 to make the program
its just a little RPG tool that makes
a text file of info...nothing fancy...

According to Google, gpib-vdd.dll is a 16-bit Windows file. So I'd say it's your friends computer, not your program, as QB 4.5 doesn't use Windows DLLs.
