You have to run QB in pure DOS... in windows I'd advice FreeBasic.

You have to load qbinux in pure dos... and no it does nothing with your windows system.

Qbinux is online. At the misc section.

The suprise: Novix implentation was sooner finished then I thought it would. As you can see it's a ?eta-release. I'm working on a few new addition, like a graphic boot etc.

But I just switched to PDS... and I don't even have FreeBasic... but since I've read that FreeBasic is (should) 100% compatible with QB... I figured hey... you should be able to load .bi files the same way.

MS Win98 Edit works even on MS-DOS 6.2 so it should work on 6.22.

okay let me help you out.

Edit your config.sys and add these lines:
devicehigh=c:\dos\himem.sys /eisa
devicehigh=c:\dos\emm386.exe
dos=high
add for every other device=etc devicehigh=etc

afterwards run memmeaker.

goto bootdisk.com and create a WinMe bootdisk (if you have diskdrive). Boot from your disk if you can, if not, read you bios manual on how to set this. If you get to the dos-prompt from the bootdisk, go to the desired map on you harddrive and remove the file... If you don't know how to do this... te...
