Do not go too overboard with the Lachie praise. He said he would run a games forum at QBasic.com and deserted long before Mark decided to scrap the project.

This is the kind of post that caused flame wars in the past, please do not go there. Freebasic , Qbasic and QB64 should be regarded as brothers and people like Counting_pine and MystikShadows have done a lot to unite the community.

Not everyone agrees that OOP is the be all and end all but regardless of this QBasic, Freebasic and Qb64 are just trying to keep alive a language that gave a lot of people pleasure. Some enthusiasts keep steam railways alive,do you hate them in the same way that you hate us. If you have got such a p...

It is just an area of the screen that you can use separately, normally for graphics. The SCREEN command makes the whole screen your viewport.

Banning

Could someone tell me what the banning policy is at FB, because I have been banned for months now for calling some new members morons and having the gaul to argue with V1c. At QBasic.com I only ban spammers permanently and the longest ban I have given to a member was one week for vile language.

ACC,
If you enjoy QB then stick with it, there is a new compiler that will be able to run your program in Vista without having to learn FB.
Lachie,
Please spend some of your limited time at QBasic.com.

This post cofirms my earlier suspicion that you were just a troll. Yes stick to FB and see what good that is going to be with your QB lessons, if you are taking a computer course in QB, which I doubt. PS For your information apart from OOP you also mentioned classes in your post at FB.net, which is ...

Nothing is perfect but in the list of rubbish your avatar must be amongst the most objectional things on this site.
Just answer replies without being antagonistic all the time.

My posts now seem out of place due to the fact that Pete has made this a FB only forum after my comments had been about QB/FB. This is the equivilent of allowing people to change their original post after everyone has answered. PS Dean alias Lachie, why do people use different names, you have done a...
