maybe its me but when itried it..using the arrow keys i couldn't
get out of the room as it would jump past the doors. there was
only two place top of the room or bottom.

?

is that some sort WINXP thingy running in a XP window?

is there a way to extend it to 6-12 months for files under a certain
size? alot of qbasic programs are less than 250k....

for exmaple most of mine are under 100k..

okay its finished here.... qdmapper.zip i'd say its like 99% done but workable becuase sometimes it places digger right next to the monsters...trade off is it gives you a map in less than 20 seconds...you can then tweak it if digger is too close to the monsters... just put it in your qbdigger direct...

okay i ran it but it quit after it drew the game screen...and jumped to this line of the code...

open filename$ for input as #1

and reported "file not found"...

okay working on a map generator and i get this error when i try to run either a hand made map or a computer generated map..... it immediatly declares a winner..you type in your name and it quits... here is one generated map thats 10 wide by 15 tall _diglev #1 m.. $d$$m..b$. eb.e..$... .m bb.ee me . ...

well actually, qbasic is not much of a useful language without dosbox. I really don't know why you guys like to still use the old quickbasic.. it's just a slow programming language to get anywhere. when I ran into freebasic, I figure it has a descently fast but not as fast as c++. there was also an...

so would digger need to start next to a shaft or can he start inside
soil?
