Cool. Looking forward to your games. I would appreciate if you would advertise them in the FBGD forum too ( http://games.freebasic.ent/forum ). If you insisit on using 320*240 resolution, you can always use Scale2X or Resize2X function to double your screen for people who can't run such low-res prog...

Tried using ScreenRes and setting the desired screen width, height and bit-depth like that? Not many still use Screen, unless prefering to code with -lang QB.

Of course, you don't need this anymore if you are C in fb.net forum. :P

Anyway, you probably noticed the password only reveals some more background of the story, and is not necessary to finish the game.

Bunk?

And what do you mean by occasionally?

Regarding that error, try to replace SC_RIGHTBRACKET with FB.SC_RIGHTBRACKET.

According to emails (and his email address) I got from Plasma, his name should be Jon Petrosky.

I kinda sympathize with you Nek. Luckily, when FB 0.17 was released, my problems were mostly related to not declaring my variables and using variable suffixes (which I think was a rather nice way for shorthand variable declaration). Still, I felt it was a necessary step to update my code, to keep my...

Hey, I'm just trying to make a living here. :P

But don't forget I created http://games.qbasic.com, with all its flaws yes. But it's there. Still online. And you never know, I might update it...one day.

Could you please present some code where Codemss uses your code and does not credit you? From the code displayed here, this is not the case. If he tossed out your code, get your shit together and stop whining about it. Shees! I can?t believe what anal fork you are regarding your code (which is not u...

Codemss, ignore the douchebag. You know, you wouldn't get this sort of lame crap in the FB community so move to FB already. Ok, your would get some other kind of crap from time to time. But I can guarantee you it wouldn't be lame. ;)

I kinda agree with Nodtveidt. Perhaps he was a bit too harsh, but the way QB64 is promoted in the light of FB calls for it.

I'm using FB and will continue to because I'm mainly a game designer. As such I expect and want for my code to run in Vista, can employ 32-bit libs like FMOD, BASS, OpenGL, or whatever I find needed, runs with a simple double click in modern OSes, gives me access to plenty of memory and new hardware...
