You're welcome :-). Glad to see you can use QB again. hehe

It's notable to mention that the problem isn't vista per se. it's more of the fact that you have a 64 bit CPU in your PC...Vista on a 32 bit CPU should run QBasic as expected.

you can use dosox from which to run your DOS programs.

http://www.dosbox.com/

From there you should be able to run QB and most other DOS programs in Vista. :-)

This isn't a very clear problem description. What would such a thing be used for? if we can't manage this quantity of information, knowing the purpose of what you're describing we might be able to suggest a more efficient way of dealing with it. So let us know what it's for exactly, and let's take i...

I like SMC's idea. :-). As far as order of things? How about by subjects? I mean it's sort of already in that order. just break it into more sub-subjects. Games: -> Design -> Graphics -> Script Engine Tools And Utilities -> Sprite Editor -> etc etc.... Just to break down the list. If you need to you...

PCOPY! #70 Submission Deadline

The new deadline is set for March 24th and the release planned during the week after. There's still time, but there's no point waiting for the last day ;-). So get cracking folks (your knuckles that is) and start writing up the goods. The earlier the better. I have one contribution and planning on a...

So did I. I wonder, in other languages, if it's not rather equal to dereferencing and rereferencing a memory location. hence that location doesn't change it's value, it's just not accessed anymore instead. untill it gets back to the sub where it's reassigned to the memory location. Hence, doesn't lo...

Yeah I agree with Nodtveidt here. I've already categorized anything and everything pritchard says as in one ear and out of my ass.

He's funny because he can be such a troll and then you find some of his writings actually make some kind of sense. my guess, plagiarism...roflmao

just change those include to read as follows

Code: Select all

#include "\sdl\sdl.bi" 'sdl function and constants declaration
#include "\gl\gl.bi" 'OpenGL funks and consts
#include "\gl\glu.bi" 'GL standard utility lib

Most PC's in the past 6 years or so have some kind of graphic acceleration in place DirectX or OpenGL so I think it's safe to assume that drawing and filling about 100,000 polygons should be decent on most of them.
