Whats everybody coding right now? Im typing a tutorial and a making a BMP compatible tile arrenger/map editor. Im just curious to know what everybody codes for fun :D !

Yeah, GOTO's have their purposes but then again... well... check out "Haunted Halloween" from www.qbasic.com under "action games" in the "download" section. This has to be the WORST use of GOTO's I have ever seen. It must've taken this guy a year to finish it.

Thats amazing, ever since I got one Ive been trying to make (96x64, greyscale) games on it. Its really hard! Every site that has a tutorial on it tells you something else.

Why? I dont get it! I leave for 2 seconds and I become a piece of the conversation! Lets say that "qB Iz gUD eND PhREEbasiK EZ GUD 2". As for 2D games, I heard that game-boy's use the same processor thats in a TI-84 Plus SE. Ain't that kinda cool? I mean, nobody actually does any graphing ...

Really, QB is classic. FreeBASIC wouldnt have been there were it not for QB. Oh yeah and Nek, you need to chill out and avoid having a heart attack over something posted online by someone you dont even know. Smooth move ace!

Hey Nek, I aint the one typing loads and crying over his dear "freeBASIC". Not neccesarily is the one who creates the better program the better programmer. Lets say Nek used his beloved FreeBASIC and made some 3D thing with OpenGL, then I came along and made the same thing in pure QB excep...

There you go, you can just load BMP's into memory. Good programmers are running out cause they lack the experience to do things like create a BMP loader.
