Re: qbasic in windows 7
Also remember that win7 has a different directory structure than winxp. Text based programs should run fine.

Re: The ARC Legacy remake underway, for real this time
I would say it is a classic. It was one of the more interesting games that I grew up with as a QB geek.
I imagine that it will be quite seamless with JS and html5... Totally looking forward to this one!

I cannot say too much about the book as I haven't read it. What I can say is that it is always a good idea to have books for the languages that you use and study as a reference. On the other hand, sites like this, mine, and many others have enough information and links for you to learn more than you...

It is not likely that you will get too far if you are simply in a hurry to make money. Learn to program in a few marketable languages like C (then C++), Assembly, Java, COBOL. Learn how to write software that communicates over a TCP/IP network. Then learn how to implement HTTP requests into your you...

It works on all of the computers that I have tested it on.
Try this link to the exe and actual source file. http://www.geekbasic.com/downloads/QJEWEL.ZIP Stuff was lost while posting here.

QB64 TCP/IP Networking Tutorials?
I just noticed the TCP/IP networking abilities of QB64 and would like to learn how to use them. The QB64 forum seems to be down. Does anyone know of good example software or tutorials for this? I want to rewrite my BBS in it as well as an online RPG. I will probably end up trying many things.

Starting College!
I just started going to Riverside City College. I had a bit of a rough start as far as getting classes was concerned. Some of the classes I am taking are Law and Politics and Micro Assembly Programming! The programming class will cover mostly x86 processors, but others as well. I'll be learning a lo...
