I would have used custom assembly PUT routines, which draw into a double buffer, and which you load to frame buffer once you're done with all drawing stuff... if the assembly routines are fast, your scrolling is fast, and with the double buffer, you will not have to worry about flickering. I've read all M$ recommendations and such... no workaround. If I'd use CHAIN, then it would things be called many many times a second and it would kill all performance. Also, there's about 1000 lines of ASM in a form of library used in the program... Anyway, I AM working on a FreeBASIC version, maki...

multikey has no use in my case, I just need keyboard scan codes... hit a key down / release key, the scan code... one key at time. I'll try to understand the ON TIMER emulation....
