GWBasic was out before QB...both made by microsoft. GW Requires line numbers, it's an older basic.
QB can usually run any GW Basic programs (I think provided you go to GW basic and save it as text.) someone correct me but I think so .

yeah it's sweet alright, so sweet you gotta brush your teeth everytime you use it...LOL Seriously, though, I recommend the PDS. and I have precise reasons to do so ;-). - Overlay ability (up to 16 Megs split into 64 overlays of 356Kb each) qb 4.5 doesn't do that hence you're limited in program size ...
