It's easy to crack. See Caesar encryption or rolling addition encryptions. Simple version is shifting one "letter" to the "right": Hello becomes: Ifmmp Also the system is vulnerable to analytic approaches of breaking it. In any case, any encryption should be able to have it's entire sourcecode distr...

Re: Can anyone help?

Gee whiz, I'm just looking for some help. I realize that QuickBasic is an old tool and part of this stems from the fact that I'm an old engineer!!! You dimension your arrays to hold 31 entries (0 to 30), but you read 72.
Subscript out of range.

Change your array dims to 100 or something. And hey, pay attention in class.

But yeah, I was harsher than needed, because I forgot to check his postcount. This guy actually has one, and so I should just have left the topic without posting at all. My bad.

TCP/IP or UDP
Dont even consider IPX, it's outdated.

The "easiest" to use is SDLNet, but there are tones of other networking libraries, if you dont mind too much about compatibility you can just use the windows API or sockets directly.

The whole point of having prepared water is in case the water service stops. It used to happen a lot here in PR.
