Good job. You don't have to redraw most of the menu. Just GET and BSAVE the drawn parts and add the updated data. Screen 13 allows you to GET most of the screen. Ted Yeah I knew about that, it wasn't meant to be a working demo, just was trying to figure out how to get the look in qb ;) But I'm glad...

There is a way to print to USB printers from DOS. I do not remember the command off the top of my head. Just go search google for DOS USB PRINTER. I think it has something to do with assigning the LPT1 to use the USB, but I've seen it done, and have done it before ages ago. I just don't remember rig...

Install VirtualBox, create a virtual disk image about 1GB, install Windows 95 or 98, or just MS-DOS 6 into the disk image, and boot the virtual machine.

I run Ubuntu 64 bit as my main OS, and I run everything else I need in VirtualBox.

It works quite well.

just my $0.02 :D

Yeah I knew about that already.

This was a VERY simple game that I did not think even warranted a need for such over-complication.

Just edit the config file speed value to suit your machine.

Useful palette lookup tool (online)

I find myself often looking for a color in QB, (or to emulate QB with other languages) and instead of having to trial-and-error my way through this task, I made this little utility. I'm sharing it here with everyone so that if you are ever having the same issue I had, you can easily get a solution. ...

If you can supply me with some sample data to use for testing, I would be more than happy to help you figure it out.

A few things that I see are that it may be easier to use less files.
