That's some neat stuff! I don't think I ever played it. Original graphics? If yes, you got some skills. Would love to see more proficient pixel artist developing games in FB.

What are your plans in FB now?

Oh, my memory. Do you have a working link for that QB game of yours. I completely forgot how it looked like. Was it ever ported to FB?

I'll include the new version in the next issue of BASIC Gaming, and hopefully this one in a soon FBGD update.

I'm always interested to play and glad to see new QBASIC games, but...your Sokoban game, although interesting, could use some necessary tuning. Erm...you should implement code that prevents double move. Meaning, when I push the arrow key once, I should not be able to move until I release the key and...

As much as BASIC dialects are similar, they are equally different and you can't learn all BASIC dialects (or most of them) by only learning one of them (or most definitely the original original Dartmouth BASIC). FreeBASIC is a BASIC dialect, and it really depends on the user how much your FreeBASIC ...

Look nice, but runs way too fast on my PC. You need to implement time-based movement or a FPS limiter for the game to be playable on all PCs.

Rescue The Colors - FBGD game dev competition, final results

Allow me to share the final results of FreeBASIC Games Directory annual game making competition. This year's theme was Rescue The Colors. The goal was to create a game that started in a mock (pseudo) 1 bpp mode, with only black and white color used (no grey shades!). As the game progressed, new colo...
