For example: if the program is sitting on my desktop, and the .txt file that I wan't to open is in a file in my documents. How do...

Um... if you mean changing the path while it's running, you CAN set a string variable for the path and have an input command in s...

I honestly am not sure as to what I am going to make of it. Mostly I plan of a RPG engine that can create a whole new game (well, almost) with just a loadmap(map2938.dat). It is going to be completely configureable from outside files. If you will make an RPG out of it then I'm looking forward to it...

Hmm... main program is only 82 lines, that's pretty good, but it would've been better if there were things in there besides just the same blocks over and over again... :?

It's still pretty good anyways, what do you plan to make with it?

Yeah he does, Nathan just sometimes forget to write the whole question. Luckily he asks the essential part of his question (no offence Nathan!!) Shit! I can't post it on here because only qbasic will open it. And everyone knows that you can't copy and paste stuff from basic into anything that's not...

I am working on making one with ONLY qbasic code - not with any foreign engines or anything like that. I've already made my version of a 3D engine in only qbasic, and I have also made a demo, here: ht...

Running qbasic in full screen (Screen 7 and 8, etc.) on XP

My windows XP won't allow me to run programs in full screen (when they are screens 7 and 8, etc.)

Is there something I have to apply in order for this to work!?
