Hi

Does anybody know why this site keeps logging me out all of the time?

it keeps happening which makes it very difficult & annoying to make a post or reply to an existing one - which in turn is causing me not to bother with the hassle of it

ive been away for a while but would like to become active again

Pls help

I know there is like an automatic log out thing that signs you out of the forum if youve been inactive for like 10 minutes or something like that.

But sometimes I randomly get logged off the forum even though its only been about a minute since I last posted.

Is there any way you can change the automatic log off setting for your own profile etc.?

Hey, thanks very kindly Burger2227, that's an easy solution - to one darn frustrating issue! Umm, It might help to list this solution as a "Sticky Thread" or something - because, I think most seasoned website visitors; they will not choose this option by default. Anyways, this simple fix makes one stay here, a lot more enjoyable!

Same here. It actually feels like it's been logging me out after even attempting to submit a reply. Its super frustrating.

When logging in, check the Log me in automatically BOX and you will stay logged in by your IP address.

Otherwise you may also get tossed out when posting and lose the entire post.

Pete updated the PHPBB board software last year, but that bug lingers on. Links in posts also take you away from the forum instead of opening up a new browser tab.

There is something odd going on with this board - at least with my system. I seemed to get logged out after 60 seconds. I can log back in to continue, but is a pretty darn short window, and rather annoying. Is this normal operation for this php BB forum

For example, in the two minutes it took me to compose and review this short message, when I went to post it, I was logged out, when I tried to Preview the message (luckily I saved this message to my clipboard before continuing). Anyways, pretty much anything I want to do, go to my profile, edit the profile, post, reply, I have to log back in... If I do not perform the action - very quickly, when I try to perform it, it asks me to log in again... ugh.

Oddly, I DO show logged in, at the top of the page, so methinks this is a board error.
